Sharing Recorded Candidate Interviews
Whether it’s an on-demand or live interview, Take the Interview allows the user to share interviews with anyone for greater collaboration and transparency across your organization. This article will walk you through the process of sharing single and multiple recorded interviews with colleagues across the organization.
Sharing an Interview
Navigate to the positions home page, find the position in need of review (see ‘Reviewing Responses’ for additional information) and select the yellow ‘Responses’ button.
Note: There are several ways to share an interview or multiple interviews. We will begin with sharing a single recording.
Sharing a Single Recording
From the candidate response page, hover over the candidate interview you would like to share. Notice the two icons that appear below the candidate’s thumbnail. The circular arrows will reset a candidate’s responses and resend their interview invitation. The check mark allows you to select the candidate. Next, click the ‘Share’ button, located below the ‘Completed’ bucket near to top of the screen.
You will then be prompted to type an email in the hiring manager field or select from a prepopulated list of users with TTI accounts, here known as recruiters.
The final step is to click ‘Share’. This will send an email to those colleagues you have just selected. In the email your colleague will be promoted to click the call to action in the email, and the candidate’s interview will begin playing, no login required.
Alternatively, back on the candidate response page, select the candidate thumbnail you would like to share.
Now that you are on the candidate review page, navigate to the upper right corner where you will see two sharing options.
Option 1: Click the ‘Generate Public Link’ button, copy the generated link, and send it directly to a hiring manager or colleague.
Note: Using the public link will give the viewer view only access to the interview. They will not be able to take notes or use the assessment criteria..
Option 2: Click the share icon and type an email in the hiring manager field or select from a prepopulated list of users with TTI accounts.

Sharing Multiple Recordings
The platform also allows you to share multiple candidate interviews. This allows you to send a colleague multiple candidates at once to compare answers side-by-side, focusing on the top few candidates.
Note: You can only group on-demand recordings.
To begin, navigate back to the positions homescreen, find the position that contains the candidates you want to share, and click the yellow ‘Responses’ button. You should see all of the candidates’ submissions. Next...
- Select the candidates you would like to review
- Click the ‘Group’ button
You will then be prompted with a popup window where you will
- Name the group i.e. ‘Top Candidates’ or ‘Great Communicators’, something that will convey why this group is being reviewed and has been combined
- Click ‘Submit’
Now scroll down the group you have just created, hover over the thumbnail, and click the select icon.
Now that you have selected the group you would like to share, scroll back to the top, click the share icon, and repeat the same steps for sharing a single candidate response.
The person or persons you have shared the candidates with will receive an email where they will be prompted to view the group responses.
Once they click ‘View Now’ they can begin immediately reviewing the candidates’ responses in a single review window -- no login necessary.
