To take the interview on your smartphone, you will need to download the ConveyIQ On-Demand app. If it's the first time you are accessing a particular position, click on the invitation link located within the body of your employer’s email. You will be directed to this page from which you can go to the iTunes or Google Play Store to download the app.
Once you have downloaded the app, click on the questionnaire invitation link in your employer’s email again.You will be directed to the above page again. This time click the “GO” button at the bottom of the page.
After you download the app, you will be prompted to sign in or register after clicking “GO”. If you already have a ConveyIQ/Take The Interview account, please click “SIGN IN” on the top right hand corner of the screen. If you do not have a ConveyIQ/Take The Interview account, please Register.
After you sign in or register, you will be taken to a page that says “My Interviews.” Here, you will be able to conduct a practice interview, or start your On-Demand interview.
Once you have clicked “START,” you will see an introductory video pop up andor message from the company.
Here is an overview of what to expect during your On-Demand Interview. If the position is setup to allow for retries, that will be shown here. The option to retry the On-Demand Interview will be at the very end and applies to the entire interview, not individual questions. Please note, that there could also be some answers that require a written response. Next, you will click "GET STARTED."
You will then be prompted to give the app access to your camera and microphone. Please click “OK” for both.
Before moving onto your interview, you will walk through a camera and microphone check. Once your camera and microphone are ready to go, please make sure to click “MY CAMERA WORKS” and “MY MICROPHONE WORKS.”
As a last step, you will need to make sure that you have a strong Wifi connection. As long as you see “Network Speed: STRONG,” please click “READY” and you can begin your interview. If you have a poor Wifi connection, please attempt to move to an area with a stronger Wifi connection, or switch over to a computer.
Please note that once you begin your interview, it will need to be taken horizontally. If your phone is not placed horizontally, you will see the following screen and be unable to take the interview.
Once your screen is horizontal click on "I'M READY - SHOW QUESTION" and your interview will begin.
