Once you have registered your account, you will be taken to an “About the Company” page. Here you can read a welcome message from the company and watch a short introduction video. You are going to be telling the company a little more about yourself; it’s only fair that the company tells you more about themselves too!
At this step, you will upload your resume if it is required. Make sure that your resume is saved as a .doc, .docx or a .pdf file.
Next, you will be given information about your questionnaire. You can see how many text and video questions you will be asked. This page will tell you if the questionnaire has been setup with the option for you to retry the questions at the very end of the process, and give you a rough estimate of the time it will take to complete the interview.
Press the “Allow” button in the black box during the camera check.
On some browsers, another allow button will pop up at the top of the screen. Press “Allow” there also. You may need to go into your settings in your browser as well. If on Chrome, please press the Green Lock icon that says 'Secure' and ensure that Flash, Microphone, and Camera are all set to allow access.
You will know that your camera is setup correctly when you can see yourself in the screen. If your camera is not setup correctly, check to see if there are other camera options available from the dropdown menu. Check out our camera and microphone articles for additional troubleshooting steps.
You will know that your microphone is setup correctly when you can see the audio bars moving as you speak.
Written Response Questions
If your questionnaire includes written response questions, you will begin the process by typing out your answer to these questions. Depending on how the position was set up, these questions can be timed, or un-timed. The system will tell you before you start.
Video Response Questions
The video questions will be setup just like the practice question. If you finish before time expires, you can click "End" to stop the recording and move on to the next question.
Submit your Questionnaire
When you finish recording the last video question, you will advance to the last step in the process. Here, you will see a "Submit" button. Sometimes, a position will be set up to give candidates the opportunity to retry the questionnaire. If this is the case, there will be a “Retry” button just below the closing message, which will take you back to the beginning of the questionnaire. Please note, the retry function erases ALL previously recorded responses, and once used will require a candidate to redo the entire questionnaire.
Press “Submit” and you are done! Congratulations!
Finally, there will be a closing message and thank you from your recruiter, which may list next steps and any other information you need.
