Sometimes you run into a situation where you want to message your recruiter directly before or during your video interview. This can happen for a lot of reasons, but we generally see the following as the most common (and by the way, these are all good reasons to contact them!):
- You need to reschedule your interview
- You are running a few minutes behind and want the recruiter to know you’re still coming
- You are no longer interested in the position and wish to cancel
- You’re the only person in the interview and want to see if your recruiter is running behind [link to “I’m the only one here!” help article]
If you want to contact your recruiter for any reason, please reach out to them directly outside of Take the Interview’s Live application. Email is generally the best way to do this.
As much as we’d love to help, please DO NOT contact tech support in these situations. You’re probably feeling pressed for time if you need to reach out to a recruiter when an interview is about to begin, so, you should know that our tech support group cannot contact your recruiter for you. Reaching out to us in these instances is only going to delay you even further.
