Welcome to our public release note for TTI On-Demand Platform. On-demand facilitates pre-recorded interviews and allows employers to screen/share candidate video interviews with hiring managers.
We made important changes that you can see below:
Design Updates: The candidate experience has gotten a complete makeover, with visuals that streamline the process and keep emphasis on the task at hand: interviewing.
HTML5 Recording (Removal of Flash Player): Our support and success teams identified that the number one reason candidates either reached out for help or could not complete their interview was due to issues that occur when setting up equipment due to outdated, non-existent, or temperamental Flash Players. By recording interviews via HTML5, we begin to rid ourselves of Flash reliance, providing greater speed and reliability throughout the candidate experience. This will impact Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, IE and Edge. Unfortunately Safari users will still to use Flash Player.
Practice Interview: We found that many candidates were uncomfortable with the concept of video interviewing, simply because they were unfamiliar with it. These candidates were looking for a greater opportunity to practice before completing their official video interview. By separating the practice from the official video interview, we better delineate the practice experience from the official interview experience- providing more time to practice and greater comfort with the process. The practice interview is optional. Candidates can complete it as many times as they would like, and leave whenever they are prepared to.
"My Interviews" Dashboard: TTI On-Demand will now direct candidates to an interview dashboard. Here, users can see any and all on-demand interviews associated with their account, the status of those interviews, and any hard deadlines (if set). For candidates this will provide a snapshot of video interview progress, and for employers, its an opportunity for additional company branding (through logos).
Equipment Set-up: Another issue support identified was the lack of proper audio or video recording so we have revamped the equipment setup pages, which should ensure each candidate's camera and microphone is working before proceeding on to the interview.
Video Response - Countdown Transition: We have had countless instances in which candidates have started giving their response during the prep time (so half of their answer is not recorded), or they did not notice that prep time had expired, and therefore sat silently during part of their video recording. In order to mitigate these issues, we have added a 3 second transitional countdown. When prep time has expired, the candidate will see a 3 second countdown appear over their video feed. Our hope is that this will make it more obvious that prep time has expired and recording will begin.
Security: Videos are now encrypted at rest (let us know if you have any questions about this).
